Highly antioxidant, our barley grass juice powder is grown at high altitude in the United States on volcanic soils that are extremely rich in minerals. Thanks to a very gentle drying process, this product is certified as Raw Food. In fact, barley grass juice is dried at room temperature, at less than 41°C, with virtually no thermal degradation of the plants. This gentle drying process preserves colour, flavour, aroma and nutrients.

There is a fundamental difference between juice powders and whole plant powders. In their simplest form, whole plant powders require the whole of an ingredient (or, at the very least, all of its edible and viable components) to be finely ground and then dehydrated into a powder. Similarly, juice powders require the same grinding process. The difference is that this grinding process is followed by a second process that filters out and eliminates all the fibrous and pulpy plant material - leaving only the juice, which is then dehydrated into a powder.
