Propolis – Standardised Promunel® Extract

Our propolis contains Promunel®, a standardised propolis extract produced using the patented Multi-Dynamic Extraction (M.E.D.™) process.

This process is designed to preserve a characteristic and consistent polyphenol profile. The extract is standardised to contain at least 25% of six major flavonoids identified in propolis:

• Galangin

• Quercetin

• Pinocembrin

• Pinobanksin

• Apigenin

• Chrysin

Propolis: A Natural Substance Produced by Bees

Propolis is a resinous substance collected by bees from various plant sources. Bees combine it with materials such as wax and their own secretions to create a complex natural substance.

Its composition varies according to the available plants, geographical region and harvesting season. Propolis naturally contains various plant compounds, including polyphenols and flavonoids.

A Characterised Extract

Promunel® is produced using the patented M.E.D.™ extraction process and is standardised according to six characteristic propolis flavonoids.

This standardisation provides a way to characterise the extract's composition and establish quality specifications for its production.
