Wild-harvested chaga from silver birch forests in Canada

Real chaga

Third-party tested

Description

Our organic chaga is sourced from chaga mushrooms carefully harvested in the pristine forests of Eastern Canada, where they grow on living birch trees. This selective harvesting process ensures the birch trees are unharmed, allowing the mushrooms to regenerate naturally.

Known for its immune-enhancing benefits, chaga (Inonotus obliquus) contains 215 phytonutrients, with 29 derived from polysaccharides and beta-glucans. It also boasts high levels of superoxide dismutase and ranks among the top on the ORAC antioxidant scale, making it 100 times more potent than chlorophyll.

Our chaga powder is 100% authentic and 100% pure chaga mushroom.

Purchasing chaga extract powders can come with several concerns. Many extracts from other regions may be diluted or contain fillers, or even gluten. Some extracts may not even be made from real chaga mushrooms but rather from cheaper, less effective substitutes (malt extract for instance). For those seeking authentic, high-quality chaga with maximum health benefits, it’s crucial to source products from trusted suppliers with transparent harvesting and processing practices.

Recognised as a superfood for its immune-boosting properties, chaga (inonotus obliquus) contains 215 phytonutrients, including 29 derived from polysaccharides or beta-glucans. It provides high levels of superoxide dismutase and ranks at the top of the ORAC antioxidant scale, making it 100 times more powerful than chlorophyll.

Antioxidant: Chaga is rich in antioxidants, especially polyphenols and melanin, which help to neutralise oxidative damage caused by free radicals. This can reduce the risk of chronic disease and support overall health.

Anti-inflammatory: Chaga has anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce inflammation in the body. This can be helpful in relieving symptoms of chronic inflammation, such as those associated with arthritis or other inflammatory conditions.

Immune support: Chaga can strengthen the immune system by promoting the activity of immune cells. Some studies suggest that chaga can increase the production of cytokines, which are important for the immune response.

Blood sugar regulation: There is evidence that chaga powder can help regulate blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity, which could be beneficial for people with diabetes.

Liver health: Chaga can support liver function and help protect the liver from damage caused by toxins and oxidative stress.
